Experimental: Olympics Dreamsicle
I’ve been watching the Winter Olympics nonstop for the last few days and wanted to feature a drink inspired by the host city and the Olympic spirit. The Olympics Dreamsicle is a variation of this recipe and is made with soju, a clear distilled alcohol that is typically enjoyed as a shot. The sweetness of the soju, orange juice, and honey syrup is balanced by a tart passion fruit juice. This is the perfect drink to enjoy while cheering on your favorite athletes!
Sidecar Recipe (1 serving)
- 2 oz. soju (unflavored)
- 0.5 oz. honey syrup
- 0.5 oz. fresh orange juice
- 0.5 oz. coconut milk (unsweetened)
- 0.25 oz. passion fruit syrup (blend equal parts passion fruit pulp with water)

- Cocktail shaker
- Citrus press
- Jigger
- Hawthorne strainer
- Fine mesh strainer
- Old Fashioned glass, stored in the freezer
- Large ice, either square or round

- Shake vigorously for at least 20 seconds and the shaker is completely frosted
