Classics Series: Jack Rose
Meet Jack Rose, a simple but flavorful drink that can be enjoyed throughout the year. The only liquor in the drink is applejack, which is a distilled liquor made from apples and used to be a byproduct of making apple cider in the 1600s. Since applejack has a similar alcohol content to whiskey, it can be used as a whiskey substitute in cocktails. Hope you give this 3 ingredient cocktail a try!
Jack Rose (1 serving)
- 1.5 oz. applejack (I recommend Laird & Company brand)
- 0.5 oz. fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 oz. grenadine (I recommend Jack Rudy Cocktail Co. brand)
Equipment
Directions
- Cut the lemon in half and use the citrus press to squeeze 0.5 ounces of juice into the shaker
