Experimental: Flamingo’s Knees
Flamingo’s Knees is inspired by the modern classic drink Bee’s Knees, which is made with 2 ounces of gin, 0.75 ounces of lemon juice, and 0.75 ounces of Honey Syrup. Since I recently made a batch of Nectarine Syrup, I replaced the Honey Syrup with Nectarine Syrup and the result is drink that is a pretty flamingo pink color with floral notes from the nectarine. The nectarine skins are what give the syrup the pink color, so be sure to leave the skins on when you make the syrup!
